Embodied-Relational Psychotherapy

I am a psychotherapist with over 25 years’ experience.

I work with emotional patterns, relationship difficulty, trauma, and the ways experience is held in the body.

Sessions are grounded in the present moment, in experience, in the body, and in the space between us. Often we arrive with more than can easily be spoken. Experience is carried in sensation, tension, memory, and ways of relating.

The work slows what is happening enough for it to be seen more clearly, not only the story, but how it is being lived. The relationship itself becomes part of this. We may also work with the body, breath, sensation, posture, impulse.

Nothing is required. We work with what is here.

Real change often begins in attention to subtle experience, sensation, tension, and what is held or repeated over time.

When experience is met rather than pushed away, something can shift.

There can be a softening. A settling. A different way of being with what is here.
